More and more, nationwide supermarkets and restaurant chains seem to be catching on to this strange world of veganism. Now we hear that pizza hut – with a massive 697 stores throughout the UK - will be trialling Violife on all their pizzas, (a noted VC cheese favourite) served in the restaurant from October. A spokesperson of the chain announced there will be a 8 week trial from the 2nd of October to the 26th of November and dependent on customer awareness and demand they will roll out the option from there. Restaurants featuring the cheese will be: Canturbury, Crawley, Thanet, Bluewater and Chatham. So all you lucky vegans there (or those wishing to take a road trip...) speak up for your vegamigos and get down to the stores while you can make a difference!

Yet fear not if you want a comfort food fix and don't happen to live near one of the trial areas, Zizzi's, Pizza Express and Ask restaurants all currently offer a vegan-friendly alternative on their pizza and pasta menu.
